A couple of months ago my brother Caleb (Caleb Gaul – singer songwriter / recording engineer / live sound installer / FOH engineer / man of many skills / close friend to me) came home from an island called Turks & Caicos to visit his family and friends in Ohio. While he was hanging out in Boardman with D and I, we began talking about all of the songs he’d written through out the years. Then all of a sudden around 11:45pm D was like, “you guys should go into the studio and re-record some of them”. The Midnight Session album was recorded during a cold dark evening…when it was finished Caleb locked his keys in his car while it was still running…about an hour and some change later (plus some sick Mcgiver moves) we were on our way home. Caleb was headed to Cancun Mexico, and a lot of fun was had as 3 friends reminisced and made some music together.
