surachai and i made an album together “[co]sen_tasi : clarity in japanese “- and now it’s available on iTunes, via a label called shade:red. a talented artist named birgit did our artwork. this project was the most fluid musical endeavor that i have ever been a part of and is my personal favorite for a couple of reasons. 1.) surachai is a genius…i have a saying about him, “his music is way ahead of his time” – so to the people of 2040, you’re welcome. and 2.) i think this album, being made through correspondence, captures something genuine and heartfelt. we sent tracks back and forth like pen pals and, to me, the results merge elements from the organic and mechanical, analog and digital – all coming together to make one unique sound that is new to me every time i listen to it. you can check it out on iTunes, and if you so wish download the tracks. peace and gratitude to all who support it – JP
