having a garage sale soon, so…decided to take the brave step of digitizing some (not nearly all) of my vinyl. it’s a process that i am actually enjoying. i am doing it proper, by taking photos of the cover art, and doing all of the ID forms. here’s the chain: technics 1200-MK2, shure M447 cartridge, rane TTM54, maudio microtrack recording mp3 format at 256 bitrate, 44.1hz. this cover (above) is actually a sought after album called “Columbia School of Broadcast”… it’s used by a number of turntablists. i’ve heard cut chemist, dj shadow, dj dexta…and others use this piece for it’s phrases.
